Renovations include changing exterior color from classic red brick to white.  The white paint brightens the dark brick exterior.  Cafeteria area (see long tables) brings back memories of where students ate steaming hot mac ‘n cheese.  On
cafeteria wall, a white banner pays tribute to “Wildcats” from 1948 to 1968.  Three new beige portable classroom buildings
have been added alongside the cafeteria.

Based on tour taken inside the classrooms, one could see that learning will be Priority #1.  For example, wall posters display the following concepts that students will learn in their classes:  (1) memorize days of the week, (2) use writing checklist, (3) analyze content by asking “W” questions, (4) change numbers to equivalent fractions, decimals, and percentages, (5) solve multiplication problems, etc.
